Working in Public Spaces with Annabel Schouten
How can you work in public spaces as a site-specific artist? Annabel Schouten is one of the artists-in-residence for the collaborative project between Gaudeamus and SPRING. HOME BOUND: NEUDE TRANSFORMS INTO A LIVING WORK OF ART MADE OF ROPE AND STORIES FOR TEN DAYS
From May 14 to 23, during the SPRING Performing Arts Festival, Utrecht’s Neude square will be transformed into Home Bound: a growing art installation centred around rope, stories and community. Over the course of ten days, artists, craftspeople, local residents and visitors will work together to demonstrate how diverse groups in Utrecht are connected.

SPRING Performing Arts Festival is a ten-day international festival with innovative dance, theatre, performance and more in the city of Utrecht. You will find SPRING in the theatres, at special locations and in public spaces. At the festival you will see more than 25 adventurous and urgent performances from both near and far that dare to ask questions about the state of the world.
