The third episode of SPRING in het Diepe 2023 is here! In this podcast, host Luuk Heezen talks to makers about their performances which will be shown at SPRING. This time, he talks to Lucy Wilke, Paweł Duduś, and Kim_Twiddle from SCORES THAT SHAPED OUR FRIENDSHIP, which will have its Dutch premiere at SPRING 2023. The performance can be seen twice at the Paardenkathedraal: on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 May.
SCORES THAT SHAPED OUR FRIENDSHIP is an award-winning performance which covers important themes like friendship, caregiving, and the way the bodies of the two performers (Lucy, whose body is often seen as handicapped, and Paweł, who self-identifies as queer) are perceived in society. During the short podcast, these themes are discussed. Lucy and Paweł talk about how they have been friends and have worked together for a long time, and the unique process of 'inviting' Kim into their friendship.
While the introduction of the podcast is in Dutch, the conversation with the makers is in English.
