Workshop “The workshop”, by DAS Students
Six second-year students of the DAS Theatre Master’s program will share their workshops with all those interested, concluding with a collective reflection on the workshop as an artistic space for exchange. They are Zahra Mohseni, Eva LOU (一娃), Jana Jacuka, Sam Scheuermann, Soraya Lutangu Bonaventure, and Veronika Abdul-Visocka.
As a theatre master, we believe that making performances is only one of many important aspects a theatre artist can be involved in and the workshop format forms a very important poetic tool in which artists can meet their audience, specific communities or other art practitioners in a different way.

The piece reflects on centuries of colonial oppression and the efforts to erase indigenous cultures, but also on their resilience. Just like the Uirapuru keeps singing, these cultures continue to exist, despite everything. In UIRAPURU, Evelin combines dance, mythology, and environmental awareness in a poetic and powerful narrative about survival, resistance, and the power of art.
