The Cloud of Unknowing

In old myths clouds are a barrier, but also a zone of transition and transcendence between earth and heaven, between humans and God. In his immersive video installation The Cloud of Unknowing Ho Tzu Nyen creates a hallucinatory atmosphere portraying 8 characters in an apartment block, all experiencing encounters with clouds. Ho Tzu Nyen’s research into clouds was the starting point for the dance piece ANTI—GRAVITY by Chunky Move that will be performed in the same theatre.
