Bright colours ow into visually stunning fantasies in the two video works by Chinese visual artist Tianzhuo Chen. Central to his approach is the remix of the familiar, globalized, everyday normalcy. PARADI$E BITCH features two fully tattooed little people, rapping in Cantonese. PICNIC an androgynous, fictional man-god gure, glowing in the light of a neon sun and moon. Religious symbolism, urban sub- culture and queer aesthetics blur into a grotesque, cheesy, atmospheric mix.
Tianzhuo Chen originally comes from the visual arts and has now established himself not only in the club and fashion scene,
