The Cameroonian dancer Zora Snake made quite an impression at last year’s SPRING 2019 with his cross-border, incisive performance Transfrontalier. Snake is back in Utrecht this year with his latest piece Le Départ (the departure). Not in the sense of departing to travel to a different place, but a call to join in the action, to create hope and a new future for the African continent. Snake is using hip hop, folk dance and trance-elements to create a new dance vocabulary for a new vision on African policy.
