He draws a parallel between the 1920s, characterized by rapid developments based on standardisations and seriality and the starting point for modern urban life. 1920s dance mirrors the developments of its time with aesthetic revue dance and girl troups with synchro­nized formation dances. Dorner puts this into today’s city life. Inviting the audience on a tour through Kanaleneiland he reflects with „naive“ dances on our fast times.
