    CONCRETE

    Maud Le Pladec, Ictus Ensemble
    Edition
    SPRING 2016

CONCRETE is a dance piece with the vibes of a live concert: exhilarating, tight, fierce and powerful. With CONCRETE, the French choreographer Maud Le Pladec has created a performance in which dancers and musicians enter into a dialogue and appear to want to switch roles. The post- minimalist music made by composer Michael Gordon, a mix of high-energy rock, electronic pop, virtuoso free jazz and contemporary classic, is performed live by the Belgian Ictus Ensemble. CONCRETE brings together choreography and contemporary music in an exciting way and is visually reinforced by a spectacular light design of Sylvie Mélis. A performance with the qualities of a concert.
