Drop Sculpture #4 – making senses

    Nick Steur
    SPRING 2017

After balancing a couple of giant rocks on Neude square last year Nick Steur is making a move from large to small. In his series Drop Sculpture, Steur is creating subtle installations using falling drops of water as his material. Steur will be working in a number of locations, each with its own unique set of characteristics that will determine the shape of each version. Having worked in London and twice in Brussels he will be taking on the stairwell at Stadsschouwburg Utrecht during SPRING. In the week leading up to the festival you can start following the creative process, and during SPRING you can see the result. Drop Sculpture #4 – making senses will change your perception of time and space.
