She She Pop & Sandbox Collective

She She Pop

She She Pop is a Berlin-based feminist performance collective that emerged in the 1990s from the Giessen Institute for Applied Theatre Studies. The members work as authors, dramaturges and performers, often drawing on autobiographical material as a method rather than an end in itself. Their practice is rooted in experimentation, using theatre as a public space to test social systems, communication structures and power relations.

She She Pop’s work frequently involves the audience as an active participant, turning performances into collective experiments. Since 2003, the group has worked closely with HAU Hebbel am Ufer and collaborates with a wide network of international theatres and festivals.

Sandbox Collective

Sandbox Collective is a women-led feminist arts organization based in Bangalore, India. Founded in 2013, the collective works at the intersection of art, gender and social justice, with a strong focus on access, care and community-led cultural practices. Sandbox Collective operates as producers, curators and collaborators, supporting artists across disciplines in India and internationally.

Their work is driven by a commitment to building safe, inclusive and nurturing spaces for solidarity, particularly for women and gender and sexual minorities. Through art, Sandbox Collective advocates for a more equal, compassionate world and believes in the transformative power of collective practice.
