Linda Mayasari was Director of the Cemeti-Institute for Art and Society from 2017 to 2023. She also serves as a member of the Indonesian Dance Festival (IDF) curatorial team. She is completing her Masters in Cultural Studies at Universitas Sanata Dharma, Yogyakarta, and researches the intersection of art, politics and post-colonialism in the context of Indonesian culture and history. Occasionally, she collaborates with artists from various fields to produce independent research-based projects. In 2022, she received the Nusantara Academic Writing Award (NAWA) for her thesis research.
