Franchesca Casauay

Franchesca Casauay is a cultural worker with a multidisciplinary practice, working with performance, new media, and various hybrid formats. Year-round she takes on curatorial, producer, researcher/writer, administrator, and creative roles, oftentimes serving as the crucial link between institutions and artists. In different capacities she has worked with international organizations, festivals, and collaborators, with previous cultural engagements in Asia, Europe, and Australia, such as Japan Foundation Asia Center’s Producing Performing Arts program (2018), coordinator for the Motions of this Kind exhibition in SOAS, London (2019), and guest curator for public programs at the 2020 Biennale of Sydney: NIRIN as part of her secondment with Australia Council for the Arts’ International Future Leaders Program. Presently, she offers curatorial support to the artist and activist network in her locale and is co-director of NO, a community-run art space in Quezon City established in Feb 2023.
