Erin Coppens will become SPRING’s managing director as of 15 September. Coppens (1973) has more than 25 years of experience in the performing arts sector, in both managing and artistic terms. She set up and successfully expanded internationalization at Theatergroep Hollandia and Oorkaan, among others, and was business manager at anoukvandijk dc, LeineRoebana, Kalebas Produkties and Oorkaan.
The SPRING Supervisory Board is pleased to announce Coppens as the successor to Jeltsje In der Rieden, who left the festival after seven years. Coppens will lead the festival alongside artistic director Grzegorz Reske. Cobie de Vos, current interim managing director, will hand over leadership in September and will leave SPRING at the end of October.
