Beirut 2020: site of demonstrations, revolts and devastating explosions. The Lebanese artist Charlie Prince now lives in Europe, but in his body he still feels the vibrations of his homeland. A country that moves back and forth between its potential and its tragedy. Is he feeling the truth or is it just projection? In search of new stories, he looks at the body as an archaeological site and thereby exposes new rituals and myths. The charismatic performer Prince creates a dance solo about limitless freedom of choice in how you show yourself to the world and to which place you connect. He will be joined on stage by Joss Turnbull, who combines traditional percussion with electronic soundscapes.
