CLUB EKKO

The club night is a program at EKKO that ties in with Viktor Szeri’s performance fatigue. The DJ from the performance will play a set, and at CLUB EKKO you will then find a dynamic set (both physical and musical) by Yòp and Pelanoir will play. They are spinning back 2 back, and with their wide palette of sounds, it is sure to be an energetic night.

Yòp is drawn to powerful and minimalist sounds, with a penchant for leftfield dance music. Percussive elements are the driving force in his sets, which is not surprising since he is a drummer in addition to being a DJ. Exactly these elements form the backbone of his sound and it keeps the audience moving relentlessly. Expect a dynamic mix of house, electro, breaks and much more.

Pelanoir, aka Pien, has a broad musical spectrum ranging from House, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Detroit Techno, among others, but almost always with a soulful and warm edge. As such, Pelenoir is constantly discovering new music and this is definitely reflected in her sets. She follows her intuition, creating a diverse selection that you can’t stop listening to.
