For the second time, the renowned Amsterdam dance company ICK will be collaborating with the Flemish theatre maker and visual artist Kris Verdonck. After the success of I/II/III/IIII their new piece SOMETHING (out of nothing) is set to premiere at this year’s SPRING.
Our whole world is marked by the imprint of humans and technology. The show asks what place is left for humans in a world that is increasingly coming under the patriarchic rule of technology. From self- driving cars to algorithms. What happens to our bodies in this world? Are we just 'dead men walking'? And who is responsible in the end?
Inflatable objects, machines, projections and humans are the performers in this reflection on the end of mankind.
