Is dance a language? And if it is, how does it speak? In Other Words is a show about the shared characteristics of dance and language. The stage is an empty page that gives rise to a physical language with a grammar and sentence structure of its own. What does it mean to read dance? For, if we aren’t looking for meaning, how do we see this show?
With great skill and charm, Ingrid Berger Myhre places dance in perspective. She continues her inquisitive game with language, with all the possibilities it offers and its shortcomings, in this unpretentious show with humorous overtones.
