The Australian Luke George and the Singaporean Daniel Kok have found a unique way of putting the relationship between artist and audience to the test. Using sailors’ knots, macramé and dayglo ropes, they tie their spectators together and create an interactive experience. The questions they are thus asking about trust and consent reverberate with desire, curiosity and a touch of sensuality. Unravelling the limits of collective responsibility, they study sex and power and the connection between performer and spectator. ‘Bunny’ is the name used for the person who lets themselves be tied up in bondage. But what if everyone becomes a bunny?
