SPRING in Autumn is the international theatre and dance festival organized by Stadsschouwburg Utrecht and SPRING. Together, we present performances, shows and installations by theater makers and choreographers that Utrecht cannot afford to miss. Together, we present performances, shows and installations by theater makers and choreographers that Utrecht cannot afford to miss.
Be surprised by performances that have never been seen in the Netherlands before, such as the infectious SIMPLE by Argentinean choreographer Ayelen Parolin or the dance battle between two generations in Dance Me! by the German collective She She Pop. Meet Utrecht theatre-spectators in the intimate performance Collection of Spectators by the Portuguese theatre-maker Raquel André. Experience theater in new forms in the blackboxes of Quand 3 (Le Fou/HKU Theater), the sound installation Memory Lapse (Van Veldhoven & Duermeijer) or the meditative performance A Dream Belongs To No One (Asa Horvitz) at sunset. After being forced to postpone it, SPRING in Autumn 2022 will finally present L’Haal by Khalid Benghrib, a hypnotic whirlwind of dance and rhythmic ecstasy.
