Conditions of Being a Mortal is a colourful piece that explodes in a tangle of bodies and big emotions. Raw humour, full-blown yelling sessions, shards of sexuality and arias that have the singers gasp for air. Moving to the stirring sounds of Franz Liszt’s music and filled with emotion and drama, the four inexhaustible dancers give until it hurts. In their weird and wonderful stretchy costumes, which they use in many equally weird and wonderful ways, they triumph over boring reality.
