This year we have a special pre program that will help you get in the mood even before the festival. With all the hustle and bustle around us, we invite you to unwind.
Slow TV Cinema - Y Events
From May 17 to 18, let yourself be carried away in the 24-hour long performative experience SLOW TV Cinema that immerses you in a stream of moving images. From May 20, you are welcome in the Pop-Up Store at Utrecht Centraal for an admittedly shorter, but definitely slowing down experience by Swiss creator Dimitri de Perrot.
Slow TV Cinema
24 films by 24 different artists from three different countries, screened one after the other in a slumber party-cinema setting. Artists challenge their usual practices and create footage with minimal content, simple composition and limited plot. Now we invite you to rethink viewing habits and enjoy the beauty of wasted time.
Tickets are on sale now and don’t wait too long to order, there is limited capacity.

INTO THE DIRT -Dimitri de Perrot
In the middle of the busy Utrecht Central Station, we have created a temporary sound oasis. Step inside and stay as long as you like. Slow down, maybe even take off your shoes. Sit or lie down, and listen to the ground. Hear what in our hurried bustle, usually only our shoes notice at the Dutch premiere of Dimiti de Perrot.
