Aina works at the intersection of architecture, scenography and performative installation. She uses experimental processes to develop a research on the framed image exploring how space can trigger narratives and activate imagination. Since this year she is a PhD candidate at BAU, Centro Universitario de Artes y Diseño de Barcelona.
She is co-founder and architect at ellipsis, a multidisciplinary collective researching on the creation of narratives using objects, sound and movement: ellipsis.nu
Currently Aina teaches at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU) at the Spatial Design Department and she is guest lecturer at the MA scenography at the HKU. Since this year she is member of the research group Expanded Scenography, at the HKU Lectorat Expanding Artistic Practices.
