Celine Daemen has selected some texts to share with the SPRING audience that influenced her performance Songs for a Passerby. In Songs for a Passerby you walk on your own, equipped with VR glasses, through a musical dream landscape. You follow your own 3D reflection and pass by different scenes: a dying horse, a choir of mumbling people, two playing dogs. During the Reading Group, we will read some excerpts of texts together that inspired Daemen’s work. As preparation before seeing the performance or as a way to dive deeper into what you have experienced, the Reading Group is open to everyone.
The Reading Groups have room for a maximum of 25 people.
