Sebastian Gisi is a performer, director and artist. In 2016 he graduated in Physical Theatre at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and he holds a Master in Fine Arts from the Art, Gender, Nature Institute at Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW. As a co-author, performer and director, he creates a wide variety of pieces at the intersection of theater, movement and performance. In his own work he is interested in tackling socially and politically current topics, the radically physical working body which reaches its limits, the mixing and participation of diverse disciplines in the creation process and collective working. Thus, in the end, a distillate of the common struggle emerges.
