IN.somnial

Poetry for the senses: IN.somnial is an installation that allows visitors to enter the bedroom of the sleepless poet Sonia and immediately immerses them in Sonia’s world. Sonia herself remains unseen, but she is present in the traces she has left: sounds, smells, books and her writing. Together, text, light, smells and scenography create a sensory trip that blurs the lines between dream and reality. The much-praised lighting designer Vinny Jones has worked for artists like Julian Hetzel and last year received financial support from the Dutch Performing Art Fund to further the development of her own work.
