SPRING Academy: Political Future Imagination hosted by Khadija El Kharraz Alami

Please note: there is space for 20 participants per course.

This trajectory invites participants to explore theatre as a site for political speculation and social imagination. Theatre is often understood primarily as a space of representation; but what happens when it is approached instead as a laboratory for collective exploration and critical thinking? How does fictionalising the past, the present, or the future on stage become a political act? Can theatre function as a space of rehearsal for possible futures—and if so, what kinds of futures might those be?
