SIKSA
SIKSA is a feminist duo formed by voice, bass, lyrics, and bodies. Their concerts blend the energy of punk, performative poetry, and contemporary dance. Through interaction with the audience, each show becomes a unique dramatic experience. Operating within the limitations of their instruments and stage presence, the duo finds strength to carve its own path, drawing inspiration from childhood memories, fairy tales, legends, and a reality reimagined by their uninhibited vision. In their work, the personal and the political collide, and the unspoken becomes deafening.
SIKSA has played over 400 concerts across Europe, Turkey, and the Caucasus, performing in small clubs, squats, contemporary art galleries, and major European festivals.
Co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Co-organized by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute as part of the international cultural program of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2025.
