With this performance, Ira Brand takes the audience into an examination of the ways we give in and take control.

During De Utrechtse Nacht, part of the Culturele Zondagen, SPRING presents the performance Ways to Submit in KABUL à GoGo. a production of performer Ira Brand about dominance and submission.

The entrance of the performance is free. Reservation isn’t necessary.
We start of in the cafe of KABUL: Theatro.
The venue is large, so if you like it, be sure to bring a blanket or coat.

Visitors to the performance will be given a bracelet after the performance that allows them to enter KABUL à GoGo Community Night for free. Celebrate the night!

Performer Ira Brand researches the ways we give in, and the ways we take control. Physically, psychologically, sexually, socially. Through the body, through language, and through structures of power. Ways To Submit invites you in to a fantasy, a game, a dialogue, a performance, a fight: a series of duets in which power is at work.

Afterwards you are invited for the post performance conversation.
Ira Brand’s new creation Runner will have its world premiere during SPRING Performing Arts Festival 2025.
